Thanks to the new Bluetooth radio standard, it is possible to connect various in-car devices wirelessly to each other in the car. This technology means that car drivers no longer need to buy the appropriate hands-free kit to go with every new mobile phone, and in addition setting it up only takes a few seconds. Devices with Bluetooth are also deployed in the new Audi Q7 model. The electronics experts at Audi have announced that the spacious SUV is to be equipped with a Bluetooth-compatible car phone which is capable of activating any Bluetooth audio device. It will be able not only to read the PIN code and phone numbers from the mobile itself and then process all calls via its built-in GSM system, but also to operate other devices. They only have to be somewhere in the vehicle.
